CWU Health And Safety Dept Issue European Week Of Safety Poster

Letter to branches (LTB737/12) has been issued to all CWU branches in order to help them publicise this year's European Week For Safety and Health At Work, and get involved with local management and undertake health & safety events during the week - 22nd to 28th October.

It will give the opportunity to highlight health and safety at work as a serious, relevant and important issue and to mitigate the media and this government's trivialisation of the health, safety and welfare of employees in all working environments.

Dave Joyce, CWU National Health, Safety & Environment Officer says in the letter to branches:

"We trust that the Posters along with the previously circulated detailed information will assist Branches and Safety Representatives to promote this important EU Campaign and EU Health and Safety Week which we trust will receive your full support and participation."
